I don’t go into personal life too often on here, partially because it’s a hunting site but partially because I have a great life without much to complain about. My wife’s mother passed away a few days ago very unexpectedly at the age of 63. My wife and her are talk on the phone everyday for hours and about everything kind of close. My wife is devastated. I have done my best to remain the shoulder for her to cry on, but deep down it’s killing me that I can’t do anything to help make it better. Seeing your loved ones so deeply hurt and not being able to fix it, is one of the toughest situations to be in, as I am a problem solver by nature. Today is the actual funeral and I know she’s going to lose it. So I’m asking all the prayer warriors on here to please pray for my family’s peace and acceptance during this hard time. I truly appreciate you guys and how supportive of a community this is. Thank you all in advance.
 
Been there and done that. Both of mine and my wife's parents are no longer with us. I actually think it was harder on me watching my wife go through her losses than it was for me dealing with my parents. I will definitely have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers today. My theory is that God created death so that we may appreciate life all the more. God bless.
