Did some tinkering over the weekend, I have a few old lock ons my dad uses to make from a kit he ordered back in the late 80s, it was just the metal parts,you supplied the wood, he ordered one then reproduced his own and made numerous stands, well being a saddle nut I didn't need the stands, they have been laying around in my basement, so over the weekend I did some disassembling and cutting, I came up with a pretty good platform for my pre sets and with the chain I don't have to worry about squirrels chewing thru a strap.
