Same here Dave. I’ve used one for two full seasons on just about every type of tree I can imagine. Never one issue.

Same here. I broke a Gen 1 while toe hooking but the Gen 2 has been absolutely bulletproof and completely stable. Can’t imagine there being a better platform for saddle hunting right now.
 
I'm totally lost with the comments the predator is less stable? I've used mine for 100s of hours and I've never had it budge, not even slightly.
I have to agree with this as well. I have a gen 1 that doesn't need toe hooking at all. Set it, pick platform back up, tighten strap again and push back down. Takes all of about 10 extra seconds.

Yes, toe hook not necessary for me with the original cam buckle strap, but I do so with versa lite strap. Either way it gets tight.
I will definately add the ambush to the arsenal once available.
