Has anyone ever used the wild edge ropes for the primal steps? I just picked up four of them. Going to use a 5 step aider with them!! Any advice will
Be nice thanks.

I put the WE ropes on my primal steps. Works great, just need to stretch the ropes as usual
Ditto. For what it's worth, I left mine on a tree for over a week and kept re-tightening them, but they still have some stretch. I switched over to 1/4" Amsteel on a WE to test and plan to do so on all of mine this summer. Zero stretch and I am able to get the step tight each time without as much fiddling.

I did for awhile now trying some 6mm accessory cord, easier to manage than the WE ropes and works based on my testing....sometimes I wish I would have just left them the way they were.

I absolutely hated the stock cam buckle, I ended up just cutting the ends off and tying the webbing directly to the step using the same knot wild edge uses, that worked good for a bit then decided I would try some accessory cord which was better but ultimately decided these steps where not for me.

Amsteel is the way to go! Super light, no stretch, and very durable
