Look like a Jim Stepp copycat, but for 20$ for 4, ditch the strap and add a some amsteel.

I just ordered the wild edge version. Mainly to add a couple at the top of my lone wolf sticks. How agrivating is it to hook that little hook on the buckle? I still wish wild edge would make one about 3 times the size for a platform.

Not hard at all. Just make sure the straps are running low and underneath the bends of step.
