Private land climbing method

I am trying to decide what would be the best way to climb.
I will have several trees with presets but want to also be mobile.
I was thinking about the hand climber or sticks. Since I wont be packing in long distances, I am leaning towards standard sticks not cut down
but maybe a gainer and strap mod. Looking for advice since I am beginner and still waiting for my saddle.

My current private land set up is as follows:

1. I preset as many trees as reasonable with bolts (for both climbing and ROS). They stay in all season. I have accumulated a ton of safety lines over the years so I set them up with safety lines as well.

2. I have beast sticks and squirrel steps on an OCB in my truck. If I know I'm going to stay put on a pre set spot, I leave them in my truck. But if I think I might want to move I bring them and just leave them at the base of the tree when I climb my preset to give me an option if I want to move. Or, if I see some fresh sign, I'll use them on an un-prepped tree.

For me, the weight of the sticks and ROS isn't really the issue. I don't mind the extra weight, I can always burn calories.... the benefit of the pre-set for me is quiet. I can get up a pre set tree with bolts much quieter than putting up sticks as I climb. Also, having my shooting lanes all thought through is a bonus too....

I'm using a JX-3 so I don't need a platform, ROS is fine for me.

My situation is kinda like @dlist777 where I have some presets on the parcels I hunt. I don't use bolts as the owners don't like them. For other parcels or if I want to sit somewhere else I use full size heliums. I don't have far to hike so it isn't an issue to me.

Thanks Guys, I found the hawk helium 20 4 packs on sale for $109 so I ordered them, figured I will add straps for gainers.
Just trying to decide if ROS or platform will be better, be using either cruzr xc or Jx3 with it.
I was thinking ROS as I could use it with either setup but when I go into the trees for the mobile setup more than likely its in a core area where I will set all day and hunt it very limited times so comfort is a consideration.

Can’t go wrong with sticks, but being on private property, spikes would probably be better

In hilly terrain I might opt for the tree hopper drill and bolts if the approach is very long. If shorter/easier access then 3 sticks with an aider on the bottom stick.

Mostly shorter, easier for me, an occasional swamp access.
I ended up getting a 4 pack of the 20" hawk heliums and a bunch of stuff to mod them from Dano's site.
3 cable aiders, and a double amsteel aider for the first stick. 4 squirrel steps and strap as well.
Getting ready to start modding the sticks now.
Thanks to all for the input.

Bolts all the way, I can buy a lot of bolts for $109 lol But If I get the urge to get mobile I still have some LW full size sticks but they stay at the house 99% of the time. I try my hardest to put my preset trees 20 yards downwind of the X.

love my helium’s (standard length) and I imagine the 20” are super nice to carry too. Sounds like a solid setup!

I love my helium sticks! How do you plan to pack them in? That's something you'll want to nail down before season starts.

I have the same sticks and plan on adding the cable aiders as well, it would be great to see some pics of them when there finished or if anybody else has added cable aiders to there 20” heliums, I am curious how well they will still pack.
