How long before you buy a different or second style saddle. I haven't hunted out of one, just ordered my first(cruzr xc) but am already looking at the jx3 hybrid for different situations.

Where you at? It's better to try to hook up with fellow saddle hunters to try stuff out before buying. Most everyone on here is very helpful.

Florida. I have already bought a cruzr xc with the tether and linesman rope. It was suggested a ropeman 1 but I'm assuming I will need a kong duck. Are the ascended helpful. Do you need 2, one for tether and 1 for linesman rope?

You made a great first choice--you will be happy with it. The JX3 is a different world which some like and some don't.

I’m still rocking my first. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Having said that I’m coming up on the replacement date so I’ll be chatting with CGM soon.

Lot of guys don't drop a pin on the map. Plenty of saddle hunters down there.

I've owned 10+ different ones... I currently have two Cruzr XCs and a Mini-Drey/Killdeer setup. Eventually I would like to try a full size Drey, a TX5 Lonestar, and a CGM King Cobra!

My saddle buying stopped when I finally landed on the saddle you just ordered.

Make your life easy, send the Cruzr back, concentrate on the JX3 (the worlds most comfortable saddle) and you will have reached saddle hunting nirvana........

Not necessarily. I tried one. Might as well carry a fixed position stand. Wasn't for me.
