Prusik / Biner Length - Shortening

I'd like to shorten my prusik / biner combined length. When I'm attached on stand I end up leaning out way to much. In the end I'd like to place my tether lower on the tree (maybe below my shoulders) and attached to my saddle with a shorter prusik / biner length. I think it would reduce pressure on my back and feet as well if I'm less leaned back (little more vertical) and I think this would also give me more arm room during shots, as the ropes wouldn't be at my head or shoulders, more room to shoot. Any ideas on making a shorter connection. Perhaps a different knot, any ideas will be welcomed.

I was thinking the exact thing after my trip this week. Think I’ll go with a ropeman to get rid of the prusik altogether.

what they said, ropeman. Im a stander/leaner. I stare at the ring around the tree(tether). My ropeman is within 6" of the ring. I use the saddle to keep me from falling when I lean for shots. This is ideal when combined with a platform.
