Where the skys are so blue!
I have them. They're pretty much the standard. Not as light as carbon fiber, but light enough and nowhere near as pricy.

Mine are well made, but required some modification to be tailored for hunting. Most guys replace the straps and stealth strips or otherwise silence them.

I have these as well. I’m a big fan. Eventually I will upgrade to carbon, but it probably won’t be for several years.

First move is to cut off the Velcro straps and leather attachments and replace them with webbing and clips. Don’t use polyester for this, it is too slick. Nylon webbing is where it’s at.
I used 550 cord for my bottom strap replacement. I think @Erniepower showed me this.

Bashlin Aluminum climbers are my personal choice for my gear at work. The 17degree gaff angle from Bashlin is the most forgiving gaff on the market.Their are climbers from Buckingham available in Titanium that are also very light.
