Anyone have a recommendation on a quiet windproof or wind resistant fabric?

Doesn’t have to be camo, doesn’t have to be perfectly windproof(as in not breathable).

More focus on quiet than windproof. It will be sandwiched between other layers, so color doesn’t matter. Just can’t be swishy or crunchy.

Fleece or wool seem to be where these conversations always come back to when I see them. Fjallraven's g1000 silent fabric was something I was trying to get my hands on before the divorce put a halt to all that temporarially and I don't think it's wind/water resistant enough but have a few conversations bookmarked
about a fabric called supplex that the people over on bushcraft seem to be fans of.

I've had several garments made of supplex and they were 330 denier Cordura. Prety durable, wind resistant, supple, but not the most silent fabric.

Typed "wind" in search on ROCKYWOODS.com, skimmed through the results, they offer some windblocking fabrics

You can get samples of almost all their stuff.

Good to know, bushcrafters don't care about silence as much as hunters so I was a bit wary of that one, looks like no need to test it now, thank you!

I have a couple of pairs of Alpaca pants that are very wind resistant, warm, and super quiet. I have no idea where you would obtain the fabric, however.

A garment already made or just the fabric?

Here you go... https://www.millyardage.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1820

The windpro fleece is breathable and blocks a good bit of wind but is not windproof. They say it is 4x more wind resistant than regular fleece and I wouldnt really argue that. The new jacket I have is of this material and it definitely cuts the wind from regular fleece. It is not windproof like the natural gear wintercepter stuff though. It is dead quiet.
