Rappelling Methods

I used the 13.5, but its little tight getting the sling looped around the rope three times and clipped back onto the carabiner. It worked for me though. The 19" might be a better choice, but I cant say for sure. You just don't want your autoblock running up into your rappel device.
I also run a nylon runner/climbing sling through my belay loop and hook my atc/carabiner to the sling. To get the rappel device more chest level.
Actually I went and pulled it out and guess I was using two carabiners to just hook one end up to my belay loop quicker.
