Do you hook to the lineman loops or tether loops?
Seems like the tether loops would keep you in a sitting position during the trip down and the lineman loops seem it may keep you laying down.....

I have not bought my rappelling gear just yet, I'm still researching. ..

I would definitely hook up to the tether loops. It would keep you in a much more upright and controlled position. I just started using the Guidos Web and to me the linesman loops are a little bit too low.

I've replaced my Web bridge with heavy duty loop runner and attach my grigri to it. I use my rappelling rope as my tether and tie it off when I get set. I stuff the tail of my ground length tether into a rope bag that I hang off my saddle so it won't be dangling. When I'm ready to come down, I untie and just let myself down. You stay in the seated position all the way to the ground.

Z7, I actually like the web bridge, but I'm not a big fan of the tether. I cut the tether off and just use the web bridge with the rope tether and ropeman 1 from my saddle. I have a grigri also and will have to give it a try, it sounds fun.

Great idea, I'm going to cut the tether off mine and try it out.

I never could get my linemans belt to work in my guido seemed like it kept slipping on me. Could have been my inexperience with that type.
