Rebel Fabrication one stick

U would think they would have made a more useable cut out shape to make aider attachment easier
It's actually pretty usable.

We ended up going with an actual proper girth on one side of this with amsteel

Anyone using a Rebel Fabrication one stick? They are steel construction and somewhere around 5 pounds set up with aider and cam cleat. They come bare metal with a button or predrilled for cleat. Seems like a nice setup for someone looking to get into one sticking and not wanting to drop $300 + on a EWO stick their first year.
Guys at Rebel Fabrication: "We cut all these butterflies for Nancy Doe's entry gate to her lake house but now she wants to go with hummingbirds instead. What the hell are we gonna do with all these butterflies?"
Bill in the back on the welding table: "Hold my beer, watch this."

I've bought and used one it worked really good only complaint I had was that the edges weren't sanded down good so I took a dremel and polished them up a little so it wouldn't cut into my rope

Yeah, it looks like that edge needs to get rounded over a little, maybe a channel filed for the rope.

Did you have them drill it for a cam cleat? Any tips?

Where can I find more details on weight, price, shipping?

Maker is Rebel Fabrication. Sells on ye olde book of faces, but is also a member here. Not sure if he's set up a vendor account. He has a website for his main product lines, these 1-sticks seem like a side gig to his main production.

Revive this instead of making another....

Ordered a Rebel Fab stick a few weeks ago. How are they holding up? Who all has one and whats their thoughts?

Got my stick this past weekend. Filled the inner 1" tube with great stuff and Put a coat of black flat paint on it last night, i'll put another coat on and DIY camo paint it this week. I'll post pictures tonight!
This stick feels nice tho

If my seeker doesn’t get here soon I might just get a refund and order this bad boy.

Be cautious. The owner is terrible at communication, I ordered on FB.. paid... was told 2 weeks, took a month.
Communication was poor. Very poor. However I got the stick. I've read about many guys having the same issues with him. These sticks are a side project for him, and I get that, but communication is simple and he struggled at it.

But for around $70 for a bare stick I like it. I'll get a review done soon.

His communication with me was a bit better than you describe, but it did take a week or so longer that I had expected. But, it's one guy, maybe with an assistant or two, and if he's responding to FB messages he's not cutting and welding up our sticks. I like mine but be patient if you order one.

I got one of the first he made last year. If you're looking for a DIY option, it's nice. If you're going to be picky about coatings and how pretty it is, then it probably isn't for you. I spent last season on a hawk 2-step stick with a hawk hsp platform on top. I took the cam cleat off of that and put it on this. I sanded it down and put several coats of cheap paint on it and at the end of each season I'll repaint it. The stick is very solid on a tree, with no wobble and it is very comfortable. The angled front helps tremendously. I've got size 13 boots and I don't feel cramped any of the five times I've been this year so far. If you aren't in a hurry and like to kill deer, this is a good option. He will put a versa button on it for free if you'd rather have that than the option to add a cam cleat.
