Release pouch?

I was going to suggest it also....I have 1 with a Doyle's in it and a second (the OG original ) on my vest I keep my bow holder/strap in. Great for palm sized items. When it's empty u won't know that it's there. U could always spray it with camp dry but the fleece sheds water pretty good and stay relatively dry in light drizzle or walking thru tall wet grass.

You could get a Kifaru small Xpac belt pouch. It is zippered but the only waterproof option I know if off hand. I have several release pouches I use for competitive shooting and none of them are waterproof but must of them do a fine job of keeping things dry unless youre in a downpour
