I'm not really sold on the cam cleats on my Muddy Pros. I had made versa buttons for a set of Heliums but I don't remember how the rope wrapped around the button. I think I made the exposed shank on the bolt about 1 1/2 times the thickness of the rope so it pinched over itself. Does the rope go around the button and then behind itself and half hitch on the opposite side? TIA.

Over the top of the button, behind the opposite side, half hitch to finish. You got it.

I have the original Muddy Pro climbing sticks that are 32" long with 3 fixed steps. I've used them in a number of ways, like a rope mod, one stick and a single aider on the bottom step. :)
