Hard to get your hands on these little guys eh?

Didn't take me long to appreciate the need for them. I've developed a rapid hatred for Prusiks.

Moosejaw and REI retail outlets don't carry them. Local indoor rock climbing place with a pro shop doesn't carry them. Anyone aware of a retail outlet (I'm in Michigan) where I can get my hands on a couple without having to wait for shipping? Can't even find them on Amazon with Prime shipping.
 
In the interim, you guys can try a different friction hitch and a DIY slack tender.

After I did that (distel hitch and 3$ worth of carabiner and strap from Lowe’s), I sold all my ropeman 1’s here on the forum. It is not as slick as a ropeman 1, but functions well and I don’t need to worry about backing up a ropeman 1.
