How you guys taking in ros. I don't use a backpack and ros in sys hauler is difficult to get in and out. Not adding its loud when doing so. Anyone attaching directly to saddle or another trick.

I’ve been running the Bullman ROS which work well but without a doubt have to be the most difficult to wrap up due to their shape. Basically I try to carefully slide them all to the hook end, shorten up the buckle end, then carefully start stuffing them in the pouch on the back of my saddle beginning with the wad of steps. It will clank occasionally but honestly they just sound like a set of rattling antlers clanking together. Probably not great but not too bad a worry either.

I carry 5 vet tape wrapped squirrel steps in a regular size sys hauler. Completely silent and I've never had a problem getting them in or out of the hauler.

I went through the trouble of making a really cool Kydex clip for my 5 Treehopper steps, then realized that just wrapping the webbing around them and clipping an sbiner worked just great! I hang them on the side of my vest walking in and climbing

I carry my SquirelStep RoS and other accessories needed to climb & setup (bow holder, swaider, pull up rope) in a DanO suede pouch on my saddle.
For noise, I wrap them with Camo Form and bind them with the OCB strap to keep them compact and prevent rattling.

I wish I was a headlight on a north-bound train

I run 5 squirrel steps along with my tether and linemans in a custom larger sized mesh pouch that Matthew Tomkins(TX5) made me last spring, works awesome.

Four squirrel steps on ocb. Wrap strap around steps, run niteize gear tie through hole in steps, twist together, twist tag end on right lineman’s belt. I’ve gone 50+ hunts this way. Pouches not needed. Gear tie used to secure quiver in tree for easy access.

I followed Kyle’s lead on this and can say it works great and is stupid simple.
