First season completed hunting solely out of a saddle. Great season and plan to continue using my Kestrel. What bino harness do you feel works best while saddle hunting? Right now I am using an alps but I am looking for something a little quieter and easier to operate one-handed. I just want to make sure that it works with the rope bridge. Thanks for any advice.

I switched mine over to one length of paracord. I wear it like a purse so my recurve doesn’t hit it. Once I’m in the saddle it is hung from the tree. I like the least amount of junk attached to me.

I use a fhf gear bono harness and it works really well, low profile and really easy to open

Thanks for the responses. I've used just the single strap also, but wanted some more protection after spending some good money on new binos.
I've also looked at the FHF system. Anyone have comments on the Alaska Guide Creations Kodiak Cub?

I used a horn hunter magnetic flip top case for a week during the rut in a WI, it functioned perfectly but seemed noisy to me. It Held my rangefinder too. Took it back and thinking on getting a FHF or AGC one.

I have an AGC Kodak Cub and it works great in the saddle. However, towards the end of the season I was questioning why I had binoculars with me. I was really only using them for fun to look at other wildlife. LOL

You do have to be careful with it when climbing up the tree. It seems to catch on stuff on the way up. But that would be true with any of them.

I've also noticed the case being in the way a little when climbing. I think my change to the Wild Edge steps should help vs. the lone wolf sticks. For me the thing about binos is you don't really need them until you do. Hate to give them up.
