I am new and trying to figure this out. I have read of folks sewing on boat winch webbing, ratchet straps, tubular webbing, and molle webbing. What are ya’ll using to accomplish this so that it holds? I haven’t really sewn since home ec.

I go to my local shoe shop. They have heavy duty equipment made for the task.

I haven't sewn much since home ec either (18 years ago). Thankfully my mother in law came over yesterday and was able to give me a refresher course using the sewing machine. I am using standard thread and using the ol philosophy about tying knots "when in doubt tie a lot" so I'm just sewing everything pretty hefty. I purchased the sit drag and am going off @g2outdoors setup with his old sit drag. This will be my first season ever hunting from a saddle and in fact tomorrow (9/13/18) will be my first time ever practicing shooting from it. Hopefully it holds up. I'll keep y'all updated.
