Hey guys do yourself a favor and get some shikar sticks by OOAL.
I got to use these sticks this past Friday while I was saddle hunting and this is the ultimate saddle hunting climbing stick.
Get on their website and order some or check them out at the GAOS in Harrisburg,PA. where you can purchase them at the show and walk away with them in your hands. I have tried Lone wolf , muddy pro, Leverage, Hawk helium and Beast sticks and these Shikar sticks are my favorite.
Also though I would post a pic of my saddle setup on my Kifaru X-Ray.

How you like your X-ray? I have Kifaru nomad 2 on duplex frame and a shape charge with Sherman pocket. I like the black cordura on yours, they don’t offer much in black anymore. I have wanted an antero in black for school and work but it’s impossible to find the black packs since they quit making them

Four of the shortest sticks, putting first step 3’ from ground and using second step to pull myself up(you could use a single step aider on just that step as an option), and 2’ spacing for the next 3, then 2’ to my platform, I get:

36”+17”,(24”+17”)*3,+24” = 16.5’.

I’ve stretches this to 17.5’ but I’m 6’3.

What booth are they in at GOAS? I didn’t find them on the exhibitor list. Thanks
 
I ordered 1 17" stick with the scout platform. I got it Friday as well but haven't put together yet. Seems to be made really well. I ordered one just for 1 sticking.
 
I was at the show in Harrisburg Pa this past Sunday and spoke with Matt. I was hesitant about these sticks until I held them in my hand. They are legit. Just ordered 4. Really impressed with the quality, and just how small the footprint is when stacked.
