Anyone still shoot fingers? I️ do and was looking at the Mathews TRX 8. Specs look good other than weight. Just wondering what other finger shooters think.

I have recently just gave up shooting fingers and went to a release a couple years ago because of the ever shrinking ATA. I did shoot a bow with a 36" ATA with fingers for a few years. If I shot alot my third finger would go numb. The magic number I have heard is a minimum 38" ATA. So with a 40" ATA the Marhews TRX 8 should not be a problem.

Shoot a Mathews Conquest now at 40 never had a problem. Just wondering if anyone has shot and tuned one recently.

For some reason my auto correct keep messing up. That was suppose to say never had a problem. No clue how 40 got in that sentence

What other bows are the market are finger shooters shooting? I’ve been interested in trying it.

I tried elite victory but too much letoff. Mathews makes the Conquest 4 still. Just like what I️ shoot now but they changed the grip and I️ hate it

I am mainly a trad shooter but shoot barebow compound a fair bit. I have tried bows from 28” ATA to 40”. The longer bows have less finger pinch but are generally heavier and only balance well with stabilizers making them heavy for hunting. This year I decided to give a shorter bow a try so I bought a new Diamond Infinite Edge Pro. I took the bow down and put changed the string post setting to C which lowered the letoff considerably. I can shoot it very well now but did struggle with the higher letoff before I changed the cam settings
