Yup. I got the entrenchment tool pouches. Looking at them I think there is no way the tether or linemans belt is going to fit in there, but they each go in their own pouch with room to spare.
The only thing I wish they had are Molly loops on the outside of the pouches for some incidental apparatus. There are still some loops on the Kestrel but the pouches cover a lot of them and by the time I get my bow hoist on there, well, you can never have too many.

Thanks. You answered my questions about these. Wish it would hold my ameristeps on a strap. What are you guys using to pack them with then? I’ve got a janky pouch for now but would like something else

Nothing wrong with that. Lol
Lot of guys on here are very frugal as well. I am to a point. Depends on how much it will improve my hunts or comfort.

Do you know what they are called..I picked these up at a army surplus store and I think they are gonna work better than a dump pouch, they have a smaller profile and a buckle instead of drawstring

Good idea! These pouches work great. Very little profile unless stuffed full of things , but for linesman/ tree rope they're great.
I may remove the hardware a n d replace with shock cord and a big button for closure as the stock hardware is noisy on closing ir if you're not carefull.
Or do squats........Tim Hortons also helps !
