If you're in the market for bow equipment and can stop by Jay's in Clare MI, I can't say enough good things about one of the guys working there.

Stan is freaking awesome! He's been willing to talk things over with me. Bows, sights and anything else I'm sure he'd be happy to discuss. Just been fantastic to work with / buy from. Super nice guy! Seems to be very genuinely into archery.

I have no idea if he even benefits from selling stuff or taking the time to talk things over.

The man is in a Leuague of his own. Highly recommend him if you have the chance.

Isn’t Jay’s where most of John Eberhart’s deer are displayed? Doesn’t he work there to this very day?

I think he did work there at some point but I'm not sure if he still does or not. Not sure about his mounts either but one of the guys who works in archery got the bear above the counter back there. But for all I know he could have been Eberhart

As of a year or two ago he still worked there and had like fifty deer on the wall (checked out his episode of “Whitetail Cribs” on Exodus Trail Cams’ YouTube page). He said he used to be their archery buyer. Unless it’s a different Jay’s lol.

A few years ago I broke my drop away rest on my bow during peak rut, I drove up to Jays and they got me hooked up with a QAD drop away. They run a little expensive but they have a lot of selection. Way better than the box stores.
