So I just got my sit and drag and there is no way I'm hanging from 20 feet on that. Have they always left a gap in the 2 inch webbing? IMG_20211122_170554599~3.jpg
 
Just as @pesqimon said. When I started with a Sit Drag, I used a climbing harness as the "safety device." The bridge on the Sit Drag went to the tether with a secondary prussic to my belay loop on the climbing harness.

Also, yes, the gap was there on the two Sit Drags I owned.
