Sladder vs wild line rope climbing system vs Aither

Was there anything different between the bottom 2?

They all pretty similar. My diy stuff is very similar also. IMO the ladder rung style aider is much more difficult vs an alternating step aider but that's just me. I don't climb with a tether like those guys were either. I just use my linesman...probably not the safest practice so can't say id recommend. I attach my stirrups with a timber hitch vs the daisy chains. I've never used or seen in person any of the 3 things u asked about but if u wanna know about the process I can help. I've been using my diy stuff for couple years now

I really like simplicity of the Aither method, but there is possible danger when advancing the tether. I had thought about running 2 tethers, so when I move one I am snug with the other.
Weldabeast, what is your climbing method?

It's pretty much the same thing as the bottom video just little different materials.... I have 2 separate stand alone double step stirrups and a long aider. Attach stirrup, attach aider, climb aider, step into stirrup, detach aider, attach 2nd stirrup, attach aider to 2nd stirrup, step into aider, detach 1st stirrup, repeat until u where u wanna be, hunt, kill, rappel. I used 2" webbing for aider and the stirrups are combo of 2" overhead lifting strap and 2"webbing and and 6mm rope for attaching to the tree

I cant climb on multistep aiders. But for what itis worth, I did see the Wild Line aider at the expo. The steps are made from a ridged material so the steps stay open. Maybe a little more foot support then a Amsteel aider.

I would still recommend 2 Tether Climbing for its overall score in cost, simplicity, ease, weight, speed, and slack management over anything you showed here.

That said, of the ones you showed, the sladder would be the one I’d choose if money didn’t factor in. It appears to be a good compromise between stability and bulk, meaning it’s not super heavy or bulky but enough that the ladder is more rigid and more stable than a etrier aider by itself. For speed and ease of climbing the sladder is going to win over that ultra light option for WLR as well.
