Small folding saws

After needing to trim a few small branches this year while in the stand I decided I need some type of saw for next season. I have a silky saw for camping but I don’t want to carry that, I have enough stuff in my pack. Is there a small option such as a folding knife or multi tool with a small saw that anyone can recommend? I have a large leatherman that I could use, but I really don’t need all the other tools or features. I also found the havalon Titan that I could put a replaceable saw blade on but I don’t know if that would be strong enough. Anyone have a lightweight option that they use?

lightest locking one made, I'd guess, not super sturdy but I bought a backup and just don't go crazy...used the same one for several years now

I have several of these, but they don't lock so you have to be careful. But this is probably as small/light as possible.

Opinel also makes a small one. The wood handle makes is lighter than most its size and the locking collar is nice.

I use a leatherman p4 for everyday carry cause it has a belt clip and the saw works for most everything. carry a 6in folding silky , it does the rest

This, it's very thin. It's part of the set i have that includes a replaceable blade and guthook knife set that all fits in one kit. You can purchase the saw seperately.

I have this. Found it odd that the sheath is camo but knife is bright orange so it can't be lost. Haven't used it yet.

I've used the flip n zip mentioned above the last two seasons and have been pleased.

There's a guy on rokslide that makes 3d printed handles that accept a silky saw blade. Pretty slick looking, I'd own one but if I bought anything else at the moment my wallet would ignite, spending has been a bit... much... But the saws look really nice. I'm starting to see the benefits of lightweight gear lol

Edit: ah whoops it's originally from backpacking light, just linked on the slide https://backpackinglight.com/forums/topic/ul-folding-saw/

I have used this for a few years. I don’t know of anything more lightweight. Cuts great, but blade is short so cutting limbs much bigger than 1” diameter may get tiring.

Have you use it on bones yet? Seem like a good kill kit tool too.

That’s actually what is designed for. It came with my outdoor edge knife kit. I bought it when I started hunting hogs, and it does wonders on the ribs. Quick and easy.

A good bone saw will have fine teeth and can cut wood. A good wood saw likely has wider teeth, and doesn't do as well on bone. It seems like some of the hardcore backcountry guys will carry 2 blades for this reason. I am not at the moment one of those hardcore guys so can only relay what I read about them online lol.

I have been using the small hooyman and it works well for my uses. Used a small folding browning saw that I found in the woods for a bunch of years and it still works well but got moved to duck pack.

I like Fiskars saws. I bought a rather large one in my pack for pre-season scouting and tree prep and like it so much I keep it in the bottom of my pack during the season. Totally overkill but I don't care. I also have a (discontinued) Camilius fixed-blade saw in my kill kit that could fit on my belt. Personally I prefer an oversized folding saw to fussing with a tiny blade.

I have the same Camillus if it is the T handle one. Works great.

I used folding saws years back until I bought a saw in a scabbard.
I fixed one to my climbing treestand and never looked back.
I prefer them to this day. More teeth to cut on the draw stroke and I can lean into it more.
I have pulled my hair out with folders.
They work fine on light stuff for a time.
They are not as compact but for me, a blade that won't bend in a bind.
A good Japanese arborist saw for hunting life.
