Stepp ladder who uses them?

The aider is a pain climbing down in the dark. I think most aider are. I mostly just climb down without the aider. Just have to make sure you have enough slack in your linesmans to make the step.

Last night was the first time for me. They were perfect for the crooked little mesquite I needed to be in. Set two for a platform. One got a little loose on the heavy bark but no other issues. I have 8 Will definitely need an aider system to get any height on real trees

The rope will lose its stretch after several uses and you won’t have that loosening problem.

Also, on trees with heavy bark (or even smooth slick bark), I will cam them then release and take just a smidge of the line out to make it just that much tighter and cam them again. This way you do not have the "slack" from it biting into the tree. It will not shift!
