I'm planning to switch from Tethrd ropes to Sterling Oplux this year.

I like the sewn eye option they have, but visually I'm not sure I can get over what looks like some thread, and hot glue or scotch tape holding it together.

Are there other spliced eye options out there for Sterling Oplux similar to what Tethrd has for it's ropes?

No, Oplux can not be spliced; only sewn eyes.

The knots are really not bulky with 8 mm rope not like 11 mm. I would not spend the cash. A sewn eye is often stiff and bulky. A splice is best not doable with oplux. I do not have any sewn oplux eyes but have experience with other sewn eyes. Maybe oplux is better than what I have experienced.
I do know the knots are not like 11 mm rope.

I think a knot will have to be the way I go. I couldn't take looking at that thing in the tree.

Yes, it can be spliced. Contact these good people and they'll get it done fairly quickly for you www.knotandrope.com.

I've been to their facility (Knot and Rope) in Perrysburg, OH. This must be a new offering for them.

I'm not sure if they sell it. My buddy and I contacted them and mailed our ropes to them last September. We had them back within a couple of weeks or less. I don't recall the exact turnaround time but it was quick and we were happy with their service.

Ideal for me who can be there in 30mins and potentially wait while they perform the splice. btw... I'm pretty certain they are doing all the ropes for Trophyline

They don’t have Oplux on the web site that I can see. Is it under a different name when you search the site
