Made some attatchments to hold my sticks to my saddle as i climb up the tree. They hold really well and sticks are easy to get out but do not fall out easily.

I tied a small paracord loop to my hawk stick and clip it to a grimloc on my saddle.

Couldn’t tell from the pics. How are you connecting it to the stick? Around the button?

In my experience if it's not flat it will create a pressure point after a few hours sitting, definitely more on your sides because of how the bridge attaches its hip pinchx2.. . I went with the kydex molle j hooks from @DanO

It has a small loop on the other end. Run it through the molle and through the small loop

What are you talking about? I have no issues with hip pinch from a simple grimlok.

There is a very good reason why molle attachment straps are flat and biggest reason is to avoid pressure points on a waist belt..

Its a flat strap against the saddle. Shouldnt create a pressure point. And they take seconds to remove if needed

The molle loop on the flex isn’t flat to the waist belt. I don’t notice any pressure point.

I was referring to the D ring carabiner.. your strap will create no pressure point. If any it would definitely be less than the kydex j hooks. My point in response is saying that anything can create a pressure point. Sit in a saddle all day with your shirt seam bundled and itll get uncomfortable quick. Not arguing with anyone's method and if your hunting a few hours it'll probably be unnoticeable.

It looks like there is a magical floating deer skull with painters tape on the rack in the last two pics

Nice, do you have to remove the strap or amsteel from the versabutton to use that?

I do something similar with paracord, but I clip it to kydex clips on the molle waist band of the pack I climb up with.

They didn't grab the paracord tightly enough for me stock (during a test climb, I knocked a stick free when it hit my leg), but you can soak them in hot water and bend the kydex easily to make them tighter or looser.

When I climb with sticks I use these.....loop the shock cord around the stick.... I use those little things to hold lots of things....very useful little piece of plastic

I use the kydex clips on the molle of the saddle and use niteize gear ties to hold the sticks. I think the rubber coating on the niteize holds the sticks in place. I haven't had a problem.
