I have two Summit Viper SD climbers. Both are in very good condition. Rubber on the cables is still mostly intact, all the straps and seats look new, no holes, wear marks, stains, nothing. I would say one was used moderately hard for two or three seasons say 35-65 sits. The other hardly at all. Perhaps 15-20 sits. At the very most. The paint has chipped a little in some spots but not from wear or impacts. Nothing is bent, the elastic is all tight etc. What would be an honest asking price for them? I know now new from summit they sell for $349. I think I paid $249 back in the day. I have a buddy who is interested but he’s gonna try and low ball me. Let me know what you guys think.

They’d probably snag at least $200 each on here. Can’t get many tree setups for just $200 these days.

I sold mine to a friend recently for $250. It was in next to new condition but I thought it was a fair price compared to $360 new, as did he. $200 seems to be an average on FB marketplace around here. I've seen them much cheaper but also much higher. I would have probably went as low as $150 if it had more wear or he insisted. If it's a friend I try to arrive at a price that we both feel we did some 'hornswoggling' (as @Nutterbuster puts it).

$150 -$175 was exactly my target.

Thats exactly the range I was going to suggest given what I've seen them go for on Ebay and local FB Mktplce.

I need to shed one Summit myself. Will never sell the other.

I have one to get rid of too. honestly I think you are asking too much. I'll probably put mine out at my next garage sale for $100 and take less if it is still there after a few hours. However, I'll pay attention to this thread and see if any of you guys report success. lol

I bought a well used viper from a buddy this fall for $50. The metal on it was fine, the paint was fine. It needed new cables, new seat, and arms pads to make it basically factory. I actually took it a step further. I went crazy on the mods and loved getting re-acquainted with a climber this fall.
