Some small washers
4x6 horse stall mat

Still need a piece of roofing.
And yes I know the deer legs are backwards. Some adult drinks may have been consumed making this…

Have you had to rely on just the horse stall mat yet?
I've been hearing about guys using them as a backstop but I'd like to know how well it works...
Not all horse stall mat is made the same. Saw some at Fleet that's maybe 1/4", mine seems double that. Mine will absolutely stop a field point with about 8" of penetration (150gr FP, 70# compound, 340-spine, 27.5" draw length, ymmv).

Should be pretty stout. Hang it in front of a backstop and see what kind of penetration you get. You might build you hanger so you can adjust it so if one section of horse mat gets excessively perforated you can kinda shoot around it.
