Tethrd Predator CFX

I don’t understand how the XL CFX won’t fit in a XL predator pack when the dimensions are slightly smaller.

I'm so pissed they did this.

Side note. Keep in mind. Everyone who buys one will also have to buy the new predator pack for it also for a secondary sale. New dimensions won't fit the current predator packs.
So pissed they did what? Released a carbon platform?

The prototypes I used were not that heavy. So I'm guessing along the way they had to beef it up for safety and add weight. That's a total guess. So now as others have already stated, the weight difference between other platforms already on the market is minute so there are no real advantages to this platform other than it being a little quieter if you ding it on metal and maybe some heat retention.

I’d like to see someone actually weigh the XL who isn’t associated with Tethrd. Until we see that I don’t really believe anything they post

This is a huge deal lol. I wonder if they knew people were going to make a huge fuss about the weight. If they changed it they should have came out with the reasoning before releasing the hype video. luckily its not $599

These have never been accurate on Tethrd’s website.
I think the weights are just listed without the attachment method. Standard is 3 pounds anyway, I don’t own the XL so I can’t say for sure there.

Those bracket teeth look rounded? How is that going to work?

Also, $20 says we will see them fail where the post meets the bracket.
There must be a spike of sorts somewhere embedded because carbon or plastic will wear away really fast. I'm really curious as to what they used.
