"The official saddle hunting backpack thread"

After much debate with myself. I pulled the trigger on the Venture Divide 2000. I think it will serve me well.

Has anyone had any experience in the Backwoods Mobile Gear Platfrom Pack? I’m looking to get one for my EDP. I’m looking to use it in 2 methods.
1.) As a stand alone pack and attach pouches to the front to hold my gear. I’d add some backpack straps.
2.) I’d attach it to my Platow Pack for when I need to carry more gear.

I see the code of silence one is on the website. Anyone try it?

I do like the quiet fleece like fabric…… interested to see some you tube videos to get a better feel of the pack.

The brand name out west pack makers that put out quality packs always miss the mark with fabric for tree-stand hunters in my opinion. Hard to find a fleece pack with any structure.

Just ordered this alps pack for earlier season/ private land hunts. Wanted something smaller and more streamlined since I'm moving toward one stick method with a platform this season. I have some larger packs and frame packs for public land or late season hunts when I need more stuff. Im hoping this will be a simple and light option without straps hanging all over the place. Anyone else using one?

Anyone have a pack that the LWCG singles can fit into the “water bottle” style pockets on the side?
