Get your credit cards ready. Kifaru is doing a limited run of hellcats starting tomorrow. Tail gunner and scouts to follow down the road...maybe...

anyone picking up a hellcat? i love everything about this pack except the price obviously.

I am still old school and have 2 of the old Cabela's 7 pocket fanny packs. Awesome for early season saddle hunting when I don't need any extra clothes. Shawn

Ordered one about 45 mins ago.
I was clicking refresh every 10 mins starting at 7am central till they went live so I was sure to get one. I’m assuming I was probably one of the first few to order.

Really wanted the hellcat but just found out the old Scout has a couple short aluminum stays to support load better

Supposedly a run of Scouts will be coming at some point. I guess I’ll roll the dice and pass for now and hope theScouts follow.

That pack looks nice but way bigger than what I need... looks like a mr pop up 18 without the frame

The load support is what I'm curious about. Seems like a big pack to not have any suspension or compression straps.

That's something the badlands monster does pretty well without using the shoulder straps. Wish they were still U.S. made.

They have a bunch of molle webbing you can add compression straps to if needed.

I believe that was a complaint about the original. At a certain weight it didn’t carry well. Surely they have addressed it in the reboot. I see it comes with delta straps. Assume that to pull it into the lumbar area when loaded.

Received a replacement little bear and had same belt issue.. took belt off and put my Lwcg belt I had extra and was much better but decided to send them both back.

Deciding which one of these to try next. Leaning towards the tenzing, haven’t had any of their packs. IMG_7991.png

Has anybody had luck with attaching a large platform (mission for example) to the straps of a lumbar pack? That is my main reason for leaning towards a lumbar pack but I’m having a hard time picking a pack that will fit the bill.

Here is the monster from badlands. I plan to mount an xl on shoulder straps if I can make it work. So far like the set up.

Kifaru Scout and Tailgunner now in stock.

I love the idea of owning one of these, but I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger. I see the belt is extra. I wonder how the lumbar pack is with straps only?
