This years mast crops?

In Central Illinois where I hunt the hickories were almost bare, white and red oaks are fair, walnuts are kind of spotty. My small concentration of winterberry don't look like they will be much of a draw this year. Plentiful multifloral rose as usual and if they eat mosquitos, I will be in business this year.

Whiteoaks dropping tons of acorns in one place I hunt. One tree at another is tilled up underneath, but they may have cleaned them up as I only found a couple left on the ground.

Private I hunt up in the north part of the state is going to have a good white oak crop and way better than expected red oak crop. Whites are not dropping yet other than a few green ones getting knocked out.

The white oaks are doing great. They had a down year here last year it seemed like but the black oak are about average.
