Thoughts or Advice for todays hunt?

Good Morning Saddle Hunters,

This afternoon I will be hunting a new spot (pasted or attached) somewhat blind and hoping to get a few thoughts/advice on what you would do. I haven't had a chance to scout this spot. There is a NE wind at 7mph forecast so I figured today might be a good day to check out this spot. I can cross a barbed/chainlink fence at any of three areas marked in blue (i made a quick set of aiders). This spot is about .5 miles wide with the fields to the north being prairie/nonplanted (no leftover corn or soy) The area east of the fence I labeled "barbed wire" is tall grass, savanna-like area similar to what the most southern edge of this picture looks like. For the most part this area is flat with no more than +/- 5 feet elevation change.

My one thought is to cross at the west and follow the creek on the inside and set up somewhere on that northern point but I'm somewhat lost on where bedding and food source might be.

I'm using climbing sticks and a modded sit drag/rock climbing harness combo so I'm mobile and flexible.

I look forward to your thoughts. Thanks!

BTW if this is more appropiate in a different forum location let me know.
