Fine but can I still drink bleach?
Only once.

My thoughts are one that they may be curious about a strong flowery smell and two they may associate a strong flowery smell with a food source like ripe persimmons or muscadines. However, if they can smell the laundry detergent then they should be able to smell the human wearing the clothes.
What if it's not a typo? Maybe he's pouring bacon flavored soda into the washing machine as a liquid detergent.
I hunt suburban areas too. Unless you’re hunting a backyard or a hikers trail, mature deer have a “bubble” and if they smell humans within 40 yards of their safety bubble they are gone. A curious spike might not mind.. and even in the bigwoods I’ve had deer inexplicably stand down wind of me un spooked, but I don’t think your human smell or the smell of tide will ever work in your favor. Quite the oppositeWhat kinds of areas do you hunt? In my region the bucks that live near suburban neighborhoods are completely different than the bucks that live in remote places. Anything unusual and out of
Place is a greater concern than the familiar…
Hmm. I know I went off the rails but that kinda sounds like a good combination for deer.
Have you ever walked into a bathroom where someone sprayed fabreeze to cover up the smell of poop? Did it fool you? I imagine this is the same thing for a deer smelling your cover scent. I can see the argument of just not worrying about scent at all, but no way does a deer smell your detergent and not smell human.I mainly hunt remote forest. One area in particular is boat access only and a 10,000 acre island that's a wildlife preserve mainly uninhabited.
That's the main area I've had them appear to be very calm & curious which isn't the norm.
It's always impossible to remove human odor. Also believe in curiosity scents to a degree. Either way every deer I've shot has been within 40 yards & never shot a spike in my life. I know they're going to smell me either way, & do think some odors might have a calming effect or less threatful level to them.
Normally they're like, oh crap, I know that guy, pretty sure he's the one that killed my uncle, vs dang that guy smells good. I wonder where he's been getting all those flowers from. I wonder if he's got some more, is that a very strong muguet aldehydic component I smell that's relaxing me or is he just happy to see me?....you know something like that.

Ah, you guys are too modern for me…I think I see what you're getting at here...
... So I should burn a couple pumpkin spice and apple cinnamon candles near my set when I'm in the tree.
That would probably go well with herbal relaxants I was reading about.I think I see what you're getting at here...

Sounds like a business plan. Hunters yoga supply lolThat would probably go well with herbal relaxants I was reading about.
If I keep up at this rate I may be hunting off a camo yoga mat next year. I'll just skip the bucket all together.
