Seen allot of comments on another post about tie dye clothing. Sounds fun, let's see what everyone has. I dyed a pair of Carhartt bibs with black dye before, just to give it a broken look, long time ago, don't have them no more.

I was just thinking about this a week or so ago when my kids tie dyed some shirts. Someone has to have done this before lol

I only have bright stuff right now. I'll rock the crayola box until I get some earth tones. Tye dye is an art. We are on the process of educating ourselves. Lots of techniques and tricks. I did grab a card from a guy that said he'd ship for free if I told him what I wanted and in what colors.

I'm most interested in shirts and bandanas. I wear more solids these days on my lower body.

About 10 years ago I couldn’t find the combination of a tshirt (material) and camo pattern that I liked together being sold on the market. (I could find the tshirt I liked, but it was only sold in solid colors).

So in true DIY spirit, I grabbed some fabric markers and started making my own, attempting to replicate a very well-known camo pattern.

After about 15 minutes into the endeavor (which wound up taking several hours) my wife walked by and asked “What are you doing?”

I explained it to her. She just said “that’s going to look like chit” and walked away.
