TreeHopper Recon Sling for big guys?

I told him my waist was a 38”. I think he sent me a large. I think he should of sent a regular. Been trying to get a hold of him.

Like the often repeated phase here,.. This stuff is all so personal. I'm a 35" waist and I was convinced that a small would work best for me. Until I had one. Now I realize that the medium is best for me. On the other side of the coin, my friend is a bit larger than I am and he likes his small...go figure.
The bright side is that Mark is so concerned with customer satisfaction. If you get the wrong size, send it back for a refund or exchange. Just don't alter it and then expect him to take it back.

I’m looking at getting one too. So Do you get to pick a web bridge or rope bridge? If you pick rope, What type of rope does it come with and vice versa. Why are ppl flipping “plates”? Thx

There is a large Recon for sale on the classifieds right now. @enkriss is selling it.
Flipping the plates improves comfort for some people. I prefer to flip the plates on mine. Also, flipped plates can improve how well the Recon carries weighty dump pouches. I don't do dumps, so I can't comment on how effectively flipping helps dumps.

How are u managing or what do you do with your ropes if you aren’t running pouches.

Linesman in pouch on Recon; everything else in haversack.

My tether goes in either a small fanny pack or I shove it in my muff (and watch it comedians, this is a family forum! Lol).
My lineman stays clipped to the sling. I don't have issues with my Recon sagging like I did with other saddles, but using the lineman as a suspender works very well and doing that should easily solve anyone's issues of a saggy saddle.
