Trophy Line Tree Saddle Coming Back in 2019?

I just listened to the John Eberhart episode on Wired To Hunt podcast this week. Something caught my ears when he heard Trophy Line is coming back in 2019 he heard. Has anyone else heard this? If so who is reviving the company? Is it the original owner or did someone buy the company? I have only had a Trophy Line and love it from a nostalgia standpoint (im sure the mantis and aero are 100x better and more comfortable than the Trophy Line I have), but still love that saddle. I would be interested if they are going to improve it or just release the older versions (a lot has changed in saddle industry since they launch). I feel like 2019 is going to be the year of the saddle. Can't wait to see what they got if this is true.

Huck and Jefferson will be happy to hear that!!! As am I of course!! I will add that my TLs are very comfortable for sure!!

I’ve been patiently waiting. I’d love to see the tether switched to rope and the bridge reinvented. But everything else is perfect

There was a couple of threads about it not long ago. No one knows for sure but The website makes it seem so

I just acquired an Ambush Saddle to get back in the swing of things so to speak. Got it in the mail yesterday at 3pm, was in the woods hunting with it at 4pm. It's been 7 years since I last hunted with a saddle and it was like riding a bike. My last saddle was the neoprene model...this ambush model sure seems much more comfortable than what I remembered the neoprene model being. I still had my old rope tether from my previous saddle, and had an extra lonewolf strap laying around so swapped out the tether and linemans belt right away and away I went.

3hr's in the stand and I didn't have to make a single adjustment. The mesh seemed to 'bite' to my fleece camo better than the neoprene did and stayed in one place rather than continuing to ride up. I experienced zero discomfort from bridge pinch on the waist, and thoroughly enjoyed my evening sit.
I was even able to witness a little 1.5yo 8point make a scrape right under the beech I was hanging in.

Scrape part 1
Scrape part 2

I'll continue to be very happy with my Trophyline until the Mantis orders are caught up. I'd very much like to see this Ambush saddle as simple as it is with simply changing out the bridge strap for loops so that an adjustable rope bridge could be utilized. You're not going to beat the Mantis at pack-ability, just make it readily available and simple to use.

holy smokes haven't seen this website yet. Makes me excited to see how many saddles are coming back to the market. Hopefully it will be mainstream within the next 5 years. Can wait to see what they release.

Anyone have any updates on the new Trophyline Tree Saddle possibly coming back out in 2019.

Who's making it? When's it due out? Any pictures yet?

@huck72412 this has been talk for close to a year now. I feel like with all the saddle hype in the last year it’s probably going to be now or never. I feel like if they were hitting the market this year they would have been to some trade shows by now. What says you?
Also if @John Eberhart mentioned it in a podcast he may be able to elaborate on it some.

I am very interested in this development as well. I would definitely want to get my hands on one as the guys who do have them seem to rave about them!!

I really like my mantis but if trophyline puts out a new product I'll buy it just to support them if nothing else. im sure whatever they come out with will be awesome

Haha. I know...I had finally sold my commercial saddles and decided I was content with my DIY fleece saddle and DIY Anderson sling. Between Aerohunter and this I can see that changing in the future.

But the great thing about saddle hunting is you can use one saddle for every tree. I have five and can see more coming. I guess we will see what they come up with.
