Trophy Line Tree Saddle Coming Back in 2019?

I just hope we don't end up with another kestrel-klone. I'd like to see a modernized TL with the old style strap and accessories. Something a little bigger than what's usually sold now.

Between the kestrel, kite, mantis, and aero winter's "new" saddle (which I doubt will be radically different) we've got the minimalist soft saddle design covered. We need another about like we need a wider selection of bolt action rifles.

ah... its always good to have options.

I am interested in the aero hunter and this one.

I am also thinking about getting another mantis. i regret selling mine...

It is nice getting new toys ....;)

I just hope they don't try to sell into the big box stores like last time. It was cool to see it in cabelas for people that didn't know anything about saddle hunting, but i think with social media they won't need to get treestand manufacturing stamp of approval. We all know they are stronger than a normal tree harness. Don't appease the cult of treestand manufacturing companies

Do we think Trophyline is going to launch a platform with the launch of their new saddle? Would love to see them launch a platform just like tethrd did for their treesaddle.
Looks like they just posted on instagram stickers are now for sale.

Anyone have tips on getting max comfort out of the new Trophyline saddle. It is my first saddle and I figured I should ask some people with experience. I'm getting hip squeeze. I'm 5'7 160 lbs. 32 inch waist.

I wish I had one here to play with but tether height is going to be your biggest adjustment. That and make sure you are hooked into the bridge correctly. There’s a way to hook into one layer of the bridge and it’s like a choker tightening down on you.

I'm not what I would call experienced as this is my first year in a saddle as well but I have spent about 20 hours total in the TL in the last week and here is what I think will help your comfort. I'm almost exactly the same size measurements as you and I think it will apply, but I know comfort is a personal thing so you may be the exact opposite.
1.) lower your tether and put a little more distance between you and the tree.( I was a little spooked of this at first.)If I get mine too high the attachment points of the bridge will dig in on my ribs it seems. Also helps it from ridding up over time.
2.) The size of the tree can effect the comfort to a degree. A small tree puts my prusik almost against the girth hitch around tree and effects how far down I can move my tether attachment point. I like it about nose to chin high. I am going to try a ropeman in place of my prusik for this exact reason.
3.) I use a platform and can not speak to a ring of steps for sure but the platform allows me to silently shift my weight around when I need to find a different position or relieve a pressure point.
In all I have found the TL to be more comfortable than the sit drag I started with and I think you will find your sweet spot just make small adjustments and don't be afraid to try something new. Oh and an odd thing I discovered is if I'm seeing deer that thing is like floating on a cloud when I'm not, well it gives me something to think about.
