My ambush pro arrives tomorrow (this will be my first saddle). I am hopeful that i will like it and that it works out for me. For now i will be using it with a ring of steps with plans to purchase a platform at a later time. I like the idea of having such a light weight hunting setup seeing as to how I hunt mostly public land and carry my gear in and out with me each and every time. Hopefully positive updates to follow.

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. I spoke to a tropyline rep. Both straps are to be used on the bridge not one.

Yes, I agree and could have been more clear on the previous post.
I was referencing experimenting with the lengths and adjustments to see how they affected fit and comfort.
But for hanging off ground, I use both bridge straps.

Not sure what the buckle is for but I experimented with it, trying different lengths of bridge.
Now for this season, I slide the buckle to tighten one of the straps as an extra waist belt, tuck the long end away and walk to my hunt area. Once there, I slide the buckle back and use both bridge straps to attach to the tree.

I personally used it to tighten around my waist when I walk in and climb
I literally just got my Trophyline AP today and have been playing with it all day to the point my wife and kids think i'm strange. Walking around the house wearing it all day then going out hanging in the tree in the backyard. What I've noticed so far that could be useful with the bridge buckle is to pull the bridge through the buckle and tuck it away on your left side for your walk in if that makes sense. I might be completely wrong though.

That’s exactly why that buckle is on the bridge. The originals never had the waist belt, they had the bridge/waist belt and suspenders. But when you lose the suspenders, a waist belt becomes necessary. I added an elastic keeper on the bridge so I can fold it up after I cinch it tight.
