I have the pro version of the tropyline saddle and not sure how I feel about the metal buckle attached to the fixed web bridge. I mostly lean so most of my weight is in my legs but still iffy about the strength. I'm sure it's tested and can't get a great answer on how strong it's been tested to. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be interested in knowing too. Maybe let me know in a couple hrs. once I'm out of it and done hunting, ha!

Hey, new here and new to saddle hunting. I have the trophyline Lite and I have the same concern. I’m not a fan of the waist band buckle. It loosens way too easy. I’m wondering if anyone has swapped it out for a quick release buckle. Or if anyone knows where to find those type of buckles.

I received my quick release yesterday and will be installing it today. I’m hoping this will eliminate the strap loosening and sliding off. I’m looking forward to easy on and off rather than trying to slide the strap through that buckle. AWFUL! Especially when you have bulky layers. Oh. If you’re new to saddle hunting, then I’d advise on getting and hand muff to keep hands warm. It’s nearly impossible to get your hands in your pockets. Just my .02

Project quick release buckle mod complete! Works great. My sewing skills are improving. Still some way to go. lol. I’m not overly concerned anyway since the belt is non-load bearing. HIGHLY recommend you do this mod if you’re not happy with the stock buckle system. It wasn’t for me as it was much to cumbersome. I’m working on a custom back support which is going to be awesome when finished!

Post up yours if ya modified it!
