I just switched from gun hunting to bow hunting 3 yrs ago and have been evolving since. I hunt mostly public land in central and north central MN. As I try to go after older age class deer be it bucks or does I am finding I have to get into marsh land or swamps and even in big woods when I get into where the sign is telling me is the right spot there are very few to no shooting lanes and a ton of brush. What is the best way to confidently shoot when you are super worried about a deflection from one of the twigs?

Do a lot of stump shooting in areas like you describe. It willl really help you learn just how much of a lane your arrow needs.
