I am new to the forum but a veteran tree saddle hunter. I have been looking for a set of ameristep strap on steps for a while. Sounds like they are a hot commodity around here but if anyone has any (non-recalled) that they are willing to part with, I am interested. Thanks.

honestly, I don't really know. I have been wanting to try this for a while and haven't been able to find them. How many are most people typically putting together for a setup? 6 or so? I guess I would prefer to buy more than I really need so that I can have them for the future too. Thanks for the reply

I am putting some platforms together and could potentially have some left. I will know in a couple of days. I use 6 per platform. What are you currently using?

I have never used anything except screw in steps. A couple of places that I hunt I can leave them up year round or even for several seasons so it is no big deal, but I want to have a quicker and more versatile option too for new stand site and public land.

Give me a day maybe 2 and I'll let ya know. I wouldn't mind parting with them if I have some left. I am also trying everything possible to figure out a better way but the ameristep platform seems to be king. I have been saddle hunting exclusively since 2003 and haven't found a better application yet.

I saw that too, huck. Interesting that both these 9 and those 10 have what my old eyes say is the same picture.
