I have made Stirrups out of Webbing.
They can be used to Climb (handy to adjust your position up a few feet without having to reset).
Weighs ounces.
You don't get 360 Access but I have messed with adding more sets around the tree.
It isn't the same as standing though...will experiment a bit more.

You can attach to the tree with another Tree Strap (nice to have a spare around anyway) but I used a Climbing Sling and/or Daisy Chain).

Take a length of Webbing and tie an Alpine Butterfly or even just an overhand knot in the middle as a Clip on Point.
Tie Bowline loops in each end to put your Feet in.

You can stand up in the stirrups, turn at angles or sideways. Works well and easier on your feet than sharp edged steps.
I hang it so my legs are at about a 90 degree like I am sitting in a Chair.

I don't know if this will be something I will always have...we'll see

I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the idea, but I like the innovation and where you head is at!

When I made those, I didn't have my Aerohunter.
The Treeseat I was in had a little 'standoff' in the middle that kept you off the tree so they worked great.

I haven't spent time in the stirrups with the Aerohunter yet.
But if it works, it is the ultimate in Ultralight and sets up and tears down instantly.

INTERESTING ! THANKS FOR GIVING ME SOME NEW IDEAS......I BELIEVE THERE IS ALWAYS A BETTER WAY !

I've seen this done by a number of people and I always wondered if doing this would cause your feet to spread apart and around the tree if you had to 'stand up' on your platform?

I may try this out but I'll put an additional small length of webbing that connects each stirrup parallel to the deck. This would keep the stirrups a consistent distance apart, similar to the rope that folks use around their feet when climbing coconut palm trees.

To answer your question ...I have not found that to be the case. I used several different types and I preferred the ones that are longer so when I stand up I'm using the entire leg around the tree and not just part of it that and it seemed more comfortable when I could stretch my legs out from time to time
