What are some really good book about deer hunting?

In addition to John Eberhart's books, here are my standouts:

Bowhunting Trophy Whitetails - Bobby Worthington (worth it for his thoughts on pin selection alone)
Bowhunting Forests and Deep Woods - Greg Miller (good primer on big woods/forests)
Mapping Trophy Bucks - Brad Herndon (survey course on mapping/terrain and deer movement)
Finding Wounded Deer - John Trout, Jr. (oddly enough, helps with decision-making on shot selection)

YES TO ALL OF THESE ^^^^^ Worthington's stuff is superb. With as many exclamation points as possible!!! But I have to add, Roger Rothaar's stuff. In Pursuit of Trophy Whitetails and Whitetail Magic. This guy was able to pattern individual and specific bucks the old fashioned way.... by scouting while woodchuck, squirrel and rabbit hunting. He takes you on a journey for each of the bucks he's harvested. Simply great reads. Dan Bertelan's book "Bowhunting's Whitetail Masters." is also excellent.

Is this book really worth $200. That’s a lot of loot for a book.
Help me help you my friend lol… I’m on the fence about ordering a new rifle, $200 sure would be a nice down payment on a new Christensen Arms Ridgeline lol, I can even take a bunch of horns off the wall and pile them around said book if you think that mite push you over the edge… 0F4BB97F-02D1-4812-8809-E4CDE415F6E3.jpeg
It can be at the USPS later today with a tracking number, paypal friends and family of course!

I’m not dropping $200 on a book. I would consider trading a muzzle loader though.

Look up the Bobby Worthington podcast, I think it was done be Southern ground Outdoors. It's a 3 part series so it will keep you busy for an afternoon, it's worth the listen
Cosign. I bought his book years ago, but hearing "Mr. Bobby" live, hearing his wisdom, was a treat. This is one of those podcasts where you stop everything you're doing and just listen.

Yeeesh I gotta start liquidating my bookshelf. I didn't know I was sitting on goldmines, I'da thought 5 or 10 bucks for that. Decent book but imo nothing in a book is going to "level up" your hunting results to any significant degree.

I know. I have both Roger Rothar's books and Jay Massey's 1000 campfires. According to Amazon that's like $4,500 worth of books right there. Haven't checked the rest of my collection yet.

I’ve been looking for this book for a while now. PM me if your serious!
I just gave away this book to a member on here. I even paid the $3 media shipping charge. Haha! Looks like I missed out on $200 worth of new saddle gear. Oh well. It was a fairly new hunter so I hope it helps him kill a monster this season.
