I am using Canyon C-IV and it just seems really stiff and sometimes a pain to pack. I was just wondering if there is a better alternative.
Same here- agreed. Although it’s actually $1.39 at EWO.I'm using Canyon Elite that I bought from EWO. I really like it because it's not as stiff as C-IV and it packs into my dump pouch really well. I believe EWO has for $ 1.76 per foot.

I have C-IV, a couple Rescue-Techs, Ultra-Tech, Camo Elite, Bluewater Dominator and a couple more that I can't think of their names...
They are all good ropes and I like them all but I like some more than others.
You gotta buy them all and find your favorite.
What would you say is your favorite out of the bunch
When you grab and stuff that foot or two each time, you are stacking it and it should easily work as described……easier putting it away too probably. I have been known to move two or three times from an original spot without removing my saddle, I wrap my ropes with the figure 8 then fold and so far it’s fed flawlessly each time I forget to deploy it. I forgot a lot when I was using my rappel line as tether too. With rappel rope, use the stuff sack method. Get (or make) a sack just big enough to hold your rope. To fill it, just grab 1’-2’ at a time and stuff it in. It looks like a god-awful mess when you look at it but it won’t tangle or knot up when you deploy it.
