By weight, it’s simply 1:1, beeswax to fat/oil. This is good for lip balms and salves. Increasing the mix up to about 1.3:1 gives you a firmer wax more suitable for patches and strings.
Put the beeswax in a mason jar, and heat it in water until liquified. Mix in the oil/fat until fully dissolved and pour into whatever mold you want.
I used cupcake wrappers which worked fine but am reheating and adding more beeswax to slightly stiffen the mix. That’ll then be poured into a BB tin and can be carried in a hunting bag.
