Used pruning shears for the first time yesterday, need to modify a place for them on my dump pouch.

I use a ratchet pruner, I think it's made by HME. It fits in a USGI single M4 mag pouch. If you can find one that closes with a buckle instead of Velcro, so much the better.

I got the red box of arrows at Walmart. I normally get the mossy oak loose ones, but bought the red box this time…..same 350 spine and diameter. I added my 100gr inserts and reflectched them with my hard helical twist(ez flèche true helical). Love the way they fly!
I also practiced tying my hunters bend , the ascenders hitch(like the above set up), and mich for the first time. It makes me crazy how I can tie a knot twice and get it, then the third time I forgot what I did! Practice, practice!

This is always a fun type thread. I know I’m always doing something related to the outdoors and this saddle thing has completely consumed me. I learned to tie some knots last night

Ayyyy I did those same hitches on my system the other night. Love them. JRB has changed the SRT world forever. And now that he’s put out that Hitch Climb Method, I don’t see climbing any tree ever to be a problem, with or without a throw ball.

Did a little one stick climbing to trial my new Overwatch Orion. This saddle is JCLINE84 . Messed around with rappelling on a munter hitch, which I think I’m going to like. Also threw together a DIY multi purpose gear hanger/rappel retrieval line/pull up rope out of dynaglide. Roughly 6-7’ is daisy chained. Took a couple of the ideas from other members and combined them boyne bowhunter always89y .

Finally got a longer prusik cork with sewn eyes to use as my back up. Easy to stop and go with both the figure 8 with soft lock and the swabisch. Super confident in this setup……who knows I may even start one sticking lol.

Did a scout of some public land. Walked 3.8 miles, 10,274 steps and 19 floors according to my nosy phone. I also found an isolated primary scrape area. I'm pretty happy about that. Post season scouting sure beats spring and summer scouting. I'm tired.

Hey ... i just saw this thread and your photos. Comments: 8mm Beeline on 11mm Predator.... that's a monster system ... more than i would want on JRB doubled rope system but great for SRT. As for the hitches, they don't look right. What variant is that? Feel free to message me.

Lastly, this is what i did today!

Yeah I love the grip of the bee line on the predator, I tied them in the 5-2-3 variant in soft bridge mode. The reason I chose soft bridge mode wasn’t necessarily for the one hand operation but for me to have redundant loops to clip into on each hitch, so when I tie in my weight is distributed on 4 loops of 2 hitches, it’s the ultimate redundancy for me. I went through your video multiple times to make sure I got it right and it is, I just can’t seem to get it to look as clean as yours especially at the bottom portion of it, but I’ve verified and reverifiried for correctness. they work and grab great and break with hardly any effort. I know I said SRt but I meant JRB AM. And yeah for a dual rope system it’s overkill but it gives me warm and fuzzies. And yes I saw the new video lol I’ve been waiting for that one to drop to see what you had new planned. Loving ita and all your content. JRB should be much more popular than it is.
